Presentation: Transitioning from Scrum to Continuous Flow

Time: Wednesday 13:30 - 14:00 / Location: Metropolitan 1

We’re excited to share the Nordstrom Customer Mobile team’s evolution from scrum to continuous flow. Applying the learnings of The Phoenix Project and principles of Lean and Continuous Improvement,  we now release 4 times the features per month we used to, with the same budget. We will present from two perspectives – that of the director who, upon joining the team, shook things up by guiding and supporting the move to continuous flow; andthat of one of the team members, responsible for the process, visibility, and metrics. We’ll discuss the journey we took; including quick wins, learnings, and the challenges we each faced that led to our successful implementation of continuous flow.
